Transportation To and From Farm Camp

Transportation to and from camp must both be indicated in your online Transportation Form. Please log in to My Account and under the Forms Dashboard select ‘Forms and Documents’. There you will find a Transportation Form that must be completed for every camper regardless of their transportation method.

Car Transportation

If you will be driving your child to camp, drop off for campers on Monday is between 11:00am and 12:30pm. Pick up for campers on Saturday is between 10:30 am and 12pm. If you and your camper are flying to the Bay Area and driving to camp together, please select car transportation on your transportation form.

Bus Transportation

We will have a charter bus pick up and drop off from Bay Area locations. The cost of the bus is $100 each way.

East Bay Location (Berkeley):

To Camp: Monday Assembly Time: 8:30 am. The bus will be loaded and leaving the station by 8:45 am
From Camp: Saturday Pick Up Time: 1:45 pm

North Bay Location (Marin):

To Camp: Monday Assembly Time: 9:15 am. The bus will be loaded and leaving the station by 9:30 am
From Camp: Saturday Pick Up Time: 1:00 pm

Airport Transportation

We coordinate a pick up and drop off for all campers flying from out of town at the Oakland International Airport (OAK). Campers will be met at their gate by a Farm Camp staff member and accompanied to our bus.

Monday Arrival – Camper flights should arrive between 9am and 11am.
Saturday Departure – Camper flights should depart between 4pm and 6pm.

48 hours prior to travel, the camp office will notify parents with names and cell phones for travel chaperones. On travel days, we ask that parents contact the office with any delays to the transportation schedule. You will be notified with confirmation that your camper is with us and we are on our way to camp.

Airport transportation to and from camp is provided at no cost for campers flying to or from camp.

Campers flying to camp should send any luggage too large to carry on (footlockers, suitcases, large bags) to camp via UPS or FEDEX at least 10 days (or more) ahead of camp to insure proper delivery time. We cannot accommodate footlockers or any checked luggage at the airport. Please contact your local UPS or FEDEX office to check all the details for shipping and insuring. There are size, weight and packaging specifics, including insurance restrictions on trunks mailed without a box. On the last day of camp, we will re-weigh each trunk and send the trunks to you via UPS, billed to your credit card on file after they ship.
